Futurity Corner

A stud report must be submitted by December 31 for every breeding season for each nominated jack. All mares and jennets bred must be listed and the form must be filled out entirely (one per jack). All jack owners must submit a picture of their jack (disregard if I already have a picture) by December 31 or the $25 late penalty WILL be enforced!

Mare Nominations (2011 Show):
  • Must be postmarked by March 31, 2011
  • Form must be filled out completely (one form per mare)
  • $25 nomination fee per mare
  • Each eligible jack receives a free mare nomination.
Colt Nominations (2011 Show):
  • Each colt foaled from the above nominated mare must have the foal information form completed and postmarked by August 1, 2011.
  • A photo of mare and foal together must accompany the foal information form.
  • If foal information form is not complete and picture is not enclosed, a $25 fee will be assessed.
  • Colts must be born after January 1, 2011.
Jack Nominations (2011 breeding season; 2012 Show):
  • Must be postmarked by March 31, 2011
  • $75 nomination fee per jack
  • A photo MUST accompany each jack nomination or a $25 fee will be assessed.
  • Each jack is required to have a stud report completed with all mares/jennets bred due by December 31 of the current breeding year. Each late form will incur a $25 late fee.
**NEW Donkey Weanling Futurity coming 2011**
  • $75 nomination fee per jack OR nominate your jack for BOTH the mule and donkey weanling futurity for $100.
  • There will be two age divisions for donkey weanlings:
    • Early futurity donkeys: born August 1-December 31.
    • Late futurity donkeys: born January 1-July 31.
    • Each age division will have $100 added money and the 1st and 2nd place winner of each age group will show against each other. The 1st and 2nd place of the combined early and late will show in the grand champion donkey class. The money will be paid out in percentages just like the mule futurity.
